My boyfriend and I want to go to Europe in the fall because he wants to see a Champion's League game in Barcelona and I'm trying to get him to add Italy to the list.

If we had to pick two cities in Italy, what would you guys pick?

I'm thinking Madrid and Barcelona for Spain not least because it's way cheaper to fly into Madrid than Barcelona from the United States.

So many options for Italy! My top suggestions (in no particular order) would be:

Roma (sooo much to do) with a day trip to Latina to see the Gardens of Ninfa which are sublime

Napoli with potential excursions to Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii

Palermo / Messina if you want to get your Sicilia on

Firenze (divine museums) and a day trip to San Gimignano

Milano and excursions to Como

Torino and anything nearby makes a great combo (mountains to the north, beaches to the south, lakes to the east, and France to the west)

But honestly it really depends on what you want to be your focus— Art? History? Landscapes? A little bit of everything? Really no wrong choices 💕
